Dr. Saman Farr is the latest neurosurgeon to join the medical staff at Arkansas Surgical Hospital.

Dr. Farr is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with expertise in both minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. He regularly performs anterior and posterior cervical fusions, artificial disc replacements of the neck and low back, cervical and lumbar decompressions, lumbar fusions, sacroiliac joint fusions, kyphoplasty, and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

“I am passionate about helping patients find relief from spine-related pain and improving their quality of life,” Dr. Farr said. “Each patient deserves an approach tailored to their unique condition, and I’m excited to bring advanced surgical options to patients here in Arkansas.”

Dr. Farr earned his B.S. and M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UCLA and his medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Riverside University Health Systems and went on to complete a subspecialty spine fellowship at UC-Davis. Dr. Farr is a CAST-accredited fellow and an active member of the North American Spine Society, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and the Arkansas Medical Association.
