NORTH LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Surgical Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Orthopedic-Spine Surgeon Dr. Joel Phillips to their medical staff. 

Dr. Phillips is an accomplished ortho-spine surgeon specializing in the management of neck pain and low back pain. His areas of expertise include lumbar instrumentation and fusion, decompression for cervical and lumbar spinal stenosis, discectomy and fusion for cervical disc disease, and lumbar discectomy.

Dr. Phillips earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario and his medical degree from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons as Board Eligible and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Phillips completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by a combined Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine Fellowship at the same institution in collaboration with London Health Sciences.
